Regal Block Print Dola Silk Saree

This soft dola silk saree has a warm greige base with a teal blue border running along the edge and across the pallu. The print shows a procession of elephants, each dressed in a painted cloth with red, green and black detailing, set between bands of zigzag lines. The border carries fine zari lines that catch the light as you move.

The surface is smooth with a fine textured feel, and the drape falls easily from the shoulder. It suits a puja, a family wedding or a daytime celebration, worn with a plain blouse so the print stays the focus. Silver jewellery and a black or teal blouse bring out the colours in the border.
