A cream base carries large Ikkat-style medallions in bottle green, saffron orange, red and blue, each filled with small butterflies, parrots, elephants and flowers. The print looks like woven patola, which gives the saree a traditional character.
The pallu is the main attraction. Rows of medallions sit above a deep red panel of small star and diamond motifs, and a red border with a fine golden line runs along the length of the saree.
The soft Dola fabric drapes easily and suits pooja, weddings and festive evenings. A plain red blouse and simple silver jewellery let the print stand out.
