Bottle green is the base of this soft silk saree, with cream and olive kalamkari motifs of lotus blooms, leaves and vines spread across the body. The print has a hand-drawn look, and the colours sit softly against the green so the drape looks calm and even from every side.
The pallu carries a woven zari border with peacock and deer figures, which gives the saree its weight at the end of the drape. Pair it with a plain dark blouse, simple gold or oxidised jewellery and a small clutch for a festive lunch, a puja or an evening family function. Green tassels finish the pallu edge.
