This lavender saree is woven in 60-count Khadi linen, a fabric that stays light and airy against the skin through a long day. Small Minakari butti motifs are scattered across the body in deep pink and plum threads, giving the plain lilac ground a quiet, hand-worked look. The pallu carries a broad gold zari border and a field of multicolour floral motifs, which is where the saree draws the eye.
Wear it for a puja, a family wedding or a festive evening, and pair it with silver jewellery as worn here. The gold blouse in the photos sets off the soft lilac well. Drape the pallu over the shoulder to show the border off properly.
